We've perfected the art of the Townhouse Wedding. Licensed for civil ceremonies, our event space 'The House' hosts up to 60 guests for the ceremony, with space for up to 110 for the reception. Think less traditional venue, more private house party - supported by our experienced events team, ensuring everything runs seamlessly so you can focus on celebrating.
Say your vows in the elegant Dining Room, then let the day naturally unfold into The Lounge and out onto the Terrace - champagne flowing, music up, and your favourite people all in one place. For couples leaning more traditional, St Michael’s Church in Dowdeswell is just 15 minutes from The Promenade, making it easy to combine a church ceremony with a standout celebration back at The House.
Food and drink sit at the heart of the party. Our in-house team will work with you to create a your ideal menu, from standout canapés and a wedding breakfast to late-night bites designed for the small hours.
When the night finally winds down, eight bedrooms within The House make it exclusively yours, with an additional 28 bedrooms across the wider hotel for guests who want to stay close to the action. Just one last drink, a final dance, and upstairs when you’re ready.
