Summer Sessions at No. 131
Summer Sessions at Gin & Juice is back at No.131 – and hotter than ever. After a thronging time in Rio, we’re flying to the sunny Greek island of Mykonos for more good times – before signing off in St Tropez. Each weekend, we’ll be serving up themed £5 and £10 cocktails, plus delicious loaded fries – all to the beats of live DJs. And why not make a night of it and bed down in one of our 36 beautifully designed bedrooms before tucking into a seriously good breakfast the following morning.
Friday 5pm until late and Saturday 12pm until late, all summer long.

Idris Elba at Dunkertons
We’re on countdown. Actor and DJ Idris Elba will be spinning the decks just down the road at Dunkertons. And while Idris may be celebrated for his star performances in Luther, The Wire and as Nelson Mandala in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, his DJ’ing is epic, too; he’s been honing his skills at the turntable for over 20 years, with yearly residencies at top Ibiza destinations including Pacha and Pikes. So, hotfoot it to Dowdeswell Park and get ready to party – complete with Dunkerton’s delicious organic cider in hand.

The Bodyguard at The Everyman Theatre
It’s hard to beat Whitney Houston’s portrayal of superstar Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard. But West End star Zoe Birkett (Moulin Rouge, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Great British Bake Off Musical) does an excellent job of it in this international, award-winning smash-hit musical The Bodyguard. Northern Irish actor Ayden Callaghan will be taking to the stage as Frank Farmer, the former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, hired to protect Rachel from an unknown stalker. Each expects to be in charge – but what they don't expect is to fall head over heels in love.
