Gin & Juice operates on a walk-in basis only, but during the Cheltenham Festival, No.131 reserves the resplendent Bar Tokyo for residents and VIPs only, which overnight guests of No.131 enjoy exclusive access to - the perfect retreat when the town is at its liveliest.

How far is the Racecourse from the hotel?
The hotel is near the racecourse and perfectly located in the town centre. The racecourse is a 40 minute walk or an 8 minute drive - if you are driving prepare for traffic

Is there a private members area at the hotel?
During the Cheltenham Festival we offer a residents and VIP only bar, this bar has dedicated security and access is only granted to those staying at the hotel or our VIP guests.

Can I hire a private event space during the festival?
Yes, we offer ‘The House’ as an event space during the festival, this space consists of a dining room, lounge and private bar. Here you can host private dining for breakfast lunch & dinner, or cocktails and canapes. Explore private events here.

Can I book a table in Gin & Juice
Unfortunately we do not reserve tables, we are strictly walk-ins only in Gin & Juice, however if you have booked a room you’ll have exclusive access to our residents and VIP bar during The Cheltenham Festival.

How far in advance do I need to book?
As far in advance as possible, many people book rooms a year in advance. As for dining, sign up to our newsletter to be reminded to book.

What is the Cheltenham Festival dress code?
Check the Jokey Club website for the full dress code, or book a personal styling appointment at the Holland Cooper boutique, they will be able to dress you for the festival. If you’re visiting the boutique in advance make sure you stay with us for The Stay In Style Package which includes a personal styling appointment.

Is there an afterparty?
Gin & Juice is well known as the place to be, arrive early as we operate as walk-ins only. There are DJs every race night. If you are a resident of no.131 you will have access to a private bar during the Cheltenham Festival.

Yes, if you enquire with reception they will be able to book a taxi for you and charge to your room.

By Car
From London- Take the M4 westbound and exit at Junction 15 for the A419 towards Swindon. Follow signs for the A417, continuing north towards Cheltenham. Once in Cheltenham, follow signage for the town centre and The Promenade.
From Bristol -Take the M5 northbound and exit at Junction 11 for the A40 towards Cheltenham. Continue along the A40, following signs for the town centre and The Promenade.
From Oxford - Follow the A40 westbound, leading directly into Cheltenham. Once in Cheltenham, follow the signs for the town centre, then turn left onto the Promenade.
